Cubs Celebrate Alex Bregman’s Horse Winning at Churchill Downs
The theme for the Cubs’ brief road trip to Cincinnati was horse racing, which was more than just a fun gimmick, as it turns out. They spent their off day at Churchill Downs, where the highlight was Alex Bregman‘s horse winning the final race of the evening. And we’re not talking about the horse he bet on, as Bregman owns a horse named Act of Parliament.

That’s a pretty awesome moment for Bregman and his teammates.

Pete Crow-Armstrong spent a little time with the horse prior to the race, which made it feel a little bit like Joe Maddon‘s petting zoo. Now we just wait to see if this excursion was as effective as the little stunts the former manager pulled a decade ago.
